good things:
I wrote an elephant story with a new angle that no one else has. Pssh. Take that secret part of me that thinks I'm inadequate. And I showed my editors that I kick ass and can hustle.
My night editor is the shit. Seriously. Amazing. Best editor I have ever worked with. Thinks of things I would never think to ask. Seriously skeptical. Brilliant. Totally have a journalism crush on her.
not so good things:
I'm still at work. I've been at work since 7 a.m. I haven't eaten since then. My head is going to pop off.
I know more about elephant herpes than any person should know.
bad things:
I can't find my fantastic voice recorder. I hope it's in my car.
